Founder / Artistic Director

Sofia Hurtado is a Los Angeles based actress originally from Nicaragua. At TCT she has been seen in The Tragic Ecstasy of Girlhood, Cloud Tectonics, and Lear’s Daughters. Other credits include Taming of the ShrewSpillA Free Man of Color (Regional Premier), and How I Learned to Drive. In L.A. she has been seen in The Heidi Chronicles, The Last Days of Judias Iscariot, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and her one-woman show Yo Soy Evita. She holds a BA in Theatre from Louisiana State University and is a graduate of the Stella Adler Art of Acting Studio Los Angeles.

CO-FOUNDER / LITERARY MANAGER

Weston Twardowski is a Chicago based director. He directed The Tragic Ecstasy of Girlhood for TCT. Other credits include All My Sons, Summit (World Premier), Gel Us (World Premier), Frost/Nixon, Into the Woods, Seussical the Musical, The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds, and Arsenic and Old Lace. As an actor he has appeared in A Free Man of Color (Regional Premier), Anything Goes, All the Kings Men (Regional Premier), Sunset Boulevard, Twelfth Night, and School for Lies. He is a candidate in the Interdisciplinary PhD in Theatre and Drama at Northwestern University.

CO-FOUNDER/COMPANY MEMBER

Lauren Boone is a Producer / Director from the Bay Area and a resident director at Third Culture Theatre.  Lauren began her career in the theatre world at the California Shakespeare Theatre in Orinda, CA, with a focus on stage management and artistic learning, and continued her studies at San Francisco State University as well as the University of East Anglia (UK). Lauren has developed and produced short films, and directed for a web series here in Los Angeles as well as TCT’s premiere show Lear’s Daughters. She currently works in Media and Development at Renaissance Literary & Talent.

CO-FOUNDER/COMPANY MEMBER

Katrina Kirkpatrick is a Los Angeles native who’s previous credits include 36th Street Blues, Big Love, Piece of My Heart, Festen, The Tempest, Trojan Women, and Mountain Language. She holds a BA in Theatre Arts from San Francisco State University, has extensively trained in the Viewpoint method with members of The SITI Company and worked internationally with The University Of East Anglia (UK). She lives, works and loves in the acting, poetry and art communities of Los Angeles. Find her @KatrinaKirkpatrick.
